The Brief:

When Eric (Shygone) told me he was going to release his first CD, I knew it was up to me to create a campaign that would follow. Now, years later, hes still going strong. With the realease of his latest album, it gave me a chance to play around with the brand and take it a little further. This release is a lot more uniform and organized than our first. But then again, we have learned quite a bit in the years between. And it always helps to have a friend who is supportive of where you take the look. But I always feel its the music that defines the look.

The Brief:

Since I started working for 7News back in 2006 I have watched the brand grow and evolve. To this day I think its pretty neat at how much influence I have had on the overall design of the brand. It has been a wonderfull oppertunity to cultivate and groom a brand so large and publicly viewed here in the region. I think if anything, I have been able to wrangle out a much more dynamic and fluid look as opposed to the older more confined square feel. I think much of the freedom also comes from the advancments in technology and how people interact with the brand. Its a two way street, the audience has as much input of how they interperate the brand as the brand has on them.
